Jackarea Dawson
It was Spring 1988, when my Texan Prof. asked me to write my name on the board so that he could pronounce it correctly. The name became my pseudonym in many writings till now.
It was in 1988, when I first entered my Political Science class taught by Prof Stephen at West Texas A&M (formerly known as West Texas State University). The Texan born professor asked my name. He had a difficulty in pronouncing my full name. Then, out of the blue I said to him, "Prof, call me Jackarea Dawson". From that occassion in the next three years, I had been using that name in the university.
