"Where art thou"... Teluk Mengkabong is longing for "thou"
Missing the childhood's life experience of catching "thou" only from the balcony of my grandparent dilapidated house in the water village of Mengkabong.
It was in 1988, when I first entered my Political Science class taught by Prof Stephen at West Texas A&M (formerly known as West Texas State University). The Texan born professor asked my name. He had a difficulty in pronouncing my full name. Then, out of the blue I said to him, "Prof, call me Jackarea Dawson". From that occassion in the next three years, I had been using that name in the university.
